THE SAINT OF DESPERATE TIMES AND SITUATIONS

May 14th, 2010

As you can see from the above video, these are desperate times. From 9/11 to the BP oil spill … earthquakes and tsunamis, economic crisis, hurricanes, riots in Greece, oppression in Iran … Zane doesn’t want to get preachy or anything, but …

… Zane Black urges everyone to wake up.

It’s time to put down the and wake up.

It’s time to put down the and wake up.

Time to put down the bottle and wake up.

I’m snapping my fingers here — wake up, wake up, wake up!

St. Jude is the saint of desperate times and desperate situations. We need St. Jude right now.

Share this music with your friends.

Rage against that Big Machine

December 24th, 2011

I used to think Rage the Machine stood for revolting a machine that was out of control. I did not realize they were socialist. I thought they were the big machine. I take my own interpretation and distortation of their and make it my own deal.

When I listen to Rage Against the Machine, I want to make it clear that I do not support socialism. I support entrepreneurship, capitalism, the 2nd Amendment, and Freedom of Speech. You want to start your own business, you have every right to keep that money. You shouldn’t be forced by the machine to give it to someone who sits on their a$$ all day.

These are my own twisted interpretations of these songs, because I do not support progressives. I have Christian values and I believe in the the Constitution of the United States of America. I believe government serves the people, not the other way around.

With the new version of the Matrix coming down the line, we’re going to have to go to Guerrilla Radio and the Ghost of Tom Joad. All I know to do is music while my piano gently weeps.

Hobo with a Shotgun; Only

December 9th, 2011

Zane texted me this week about Hobo with a Shotgun. He said it was a cool movie that made him wanted to be homeless. I decided to check out the preview on . Here it is, in case you missed it:

Man, that was mind-blowing. It was like Dark Knight Returns meets Preacher Gone to Texas. Rutger Haier at his best.

The blood and gore genre is more Zane’s thing than mine, but even I was intrigued by this ominous preview. Check your brain at the door, and have a good time with the apocalyptic themes!

And now, Zane has asked me to share the song Only by Anthrax. A great track from Armageddon Radio. I had never heard the track from the album Sound of White Noise until now. was a good singer. Joey Belladonna is still my favorite (love Persistence of Time); he’s back with Anthrax, which is cool. Anyway, enjoy:

ONE LAST THING: Zane just informed me that his song, Operation: Vampire Killer, starts production before the New Year. It’s an Anti-New World Order anthem.

The song will be divided into three parts, like a trilogy of movies. Part one will be instrumental. It’s an opus. It’s the heaviest stuff Zane has ever written.

In honor of the announcement, Zane has requested one more song on Armageddon Radio, by Five Finger Death Punch:

Speak the Word

November 19th, 2011

This piece was ahead of its time. Even though this song was recorded over 20 years ago, it seems like it was written for the days we live in now.

We are living this song right now.

HELLDORADO

September 19th, 2011

Lady : I dedicate the Cramps “I walked all night.” She put me in a ring of fire many years ago, still to this very day:

I feel bad for . Her name is Kristy Wallace. She lost her soulmate, Lux. I would love to work with her. A great psycho-billy guitar player.

EL DORADO FROM HELL

I got me a ’77 Caddy, 2-door El Dorado with an 8-track that kinda worked. Bought some 8-tracks for $.25 at a Mexican Flea Market. Had the car for four hours.

I put $22 worth of gas in the tank. The 8-track fidelity was good. Flashback to the ’70′s. Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash was playing. The horns were trumpeting as a I drove off the lot.

The tape got eaten. That was an omen.

I felt like I was in the Devil’s Rejects.

I tossed some Patsy Cline in; the 8-track ate it immediately.

I had one last trick: Merle Haggard. He was playing, and then it stopped. I pressed it in harder and I got it to play.

I detailed the car. Armor All’d the interior. I was heading to my favorite rib house. Cruising down Highway 58. Merle Haggard was playing Cold War Christmas. I opened her up to 55 miles per hour on the highway. That was a mistake.

It was a two-lane back road. I was feeling like it was 1977. Like Elvis hadn’t died yet (he bought ’76 El Camino).

All of a sudden the car starts clunkin’ and chokin’. Freakin’ out. It started losing power. Smoke was coming from the hood. I pulled into a convenience store. The radiator exploded, the fuel pump ruptured, and the engine was on fire. It all happened simultaneously, all while Merle Haggard sang Cold War Christmas.

I had it four hours.

I got my money back. Now I’m looking at a ’69 El Camino. I’ll probably get a Danzig skull and horns hood ornament.

COMING SOON: Operation: Vampire Killer, Part I

Part 1 is an instrumental. Part 2 is with vocals.

It’s heavy. Rammstein meets Metallica meet Anarchy X by Queensryche.
